I've been listening to a lot of Japanese Rock lately, most of it is awesome! Anyone else into it, and if so who are your favourite artists/bands?
My favourite by far is Straightener (they're my favourite band across all genres), they've done a load of albums with my favourite being Linear.
This is just incredible to me, such a beautiful track. The end of the song (5:00 onwards) is absolutely mind-blowing, I can't find the words to desribe how much I enjoy it.

Slowly getting into the genre. Imaginary Flying Machines is my favorite from what I've heard so far mainly because they have Blood Stained Child on backup vocals on most of the songs. Haven't heard much else though.

Both incredible bands, really good choices. Mad Capsule Markeks might be up your street, they were pretty much the first Japanese band I ever heard.

I'll check them out in a bit. They sound pretty cool. First Japanese band I ever heard was Beat Crusaders but they were more of a pop group than anything. Only heard of them because of Kappa Mikey (some weird anime show on teletoon back in the day)
